Germany’s authorities continues to face criticism from environmental teams for its bold LNG import capability plans and for supporting pure gasoline on the current G7 assembly in Japan.
Claims that Germany overestimated its liquified pure gasoline capability wants haven’t been confirmed by the federal government. Two proposed onshore terminals in Stade and Wilhelmshaven, and the proposed mega-terminal off Rügen have reportedly been excluded from authorities plans adopted final yr to speed up LNG improvement.
In accordance with Environmental Motion Germany, a leaked memo “clearly exhibits that the German authorities is planning large LNG overcapacity.” Environmental teams see the federal government’s dedication to the super-chilled gas coming on the expense of net-zero emissions targets.
