Freeport LNG delays restart to second half of January

Freeport LNG stated December 23 the time wanted for regulatory businesses to overview its progress making repairs would delay the restart of the 15mn metric tons/12 months liquefaction and export terminal till later in January.

In early December, Freeport stated it could be capable to restart the power across the finish of the 12 months, pending regulatory approvals. Within the weeks following the June explosion and fireplace that disabled the power, the corporate stated it could be operational once more by October.

As of December 23, it stated, reconstruction work wanted to begin preliminary operations was “considerably full” and responses had been filed to the Federal Vitality Regulatory Fee’s (FERC’s) December 12 information request.
