US-based pipeline operator Vitality Switch subsidiary Gulf Run Transmission has acquired the US vitality regulator’s approval to start out operations at its Gulf Run pure fuel pipeline.

The approval has been issued by the US Federal Vitality Regulatory Fee (FERC) for the Gulf Run interstate pure fuel transmission pipeline in Louisiana.

The pipeline will provide pure fuel drawn from key US producing areas to fulfill the surging demand alongside the Gulf Coast and worldwide markets.

With a capability to provide 1.65 billion cubic toes per day, the 135-mile, 42-inch Gulf Run pipeline runs from Westdale to Starks, Louisiana.

Gulf Run will get pure fuel from the operator’s intrastate and interstate pipeline community, together with manufacturing from the Haynesville Shale.

Vitality Switch stated the pipeline may have entry to volumes produced from all main pure fuel basins within the US, together with the Permian basin, the Barnett shale, the Marcellus and Utica shales, East Texas, and the Arkoma and Anadarko basins.

The pipeline includes two zones; Zone 1 connects the Carthage Hub to the Perryville markets and Zone 2 extends south and hyperlinks to Golden Go Pipeline and Vitality Switch’s Trunkline system.
