Egyptian LNG has awarded a feasibility research contract to a Bechtel-led Coalition for Decarbonisation which will assess implementation of a zero-flaring system at its export terminal (ELNG) in Idku, east of Alexandria.
The feasibility research will assess choices for whole routine flaring restoration by modifications to the prevailing flare and compression techniques on the ELNG facility, decreasing methane emissions.
