Australia’s first LNG import terminal to be constructed

Three engineering and building corporations have been appointed by Jemena to attach Australia’s first LNG import terminal at Port Kembla to the Jap Gasoline Pipeline (EGP).

The appointment will see Zinfra, Nacap, and Wasco construct a 12km underground pipeline which can transport as much as 130PJ of gasoline yearly from Squadron Vitality’s Port Kembla Vitality Terminal (PKET) to clients in New South Wales and Victoria by way of the EGP.
