GTT has introduced that it has acquired an order from its accomplice the Chinese language shipyard Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co. Ltd for the tank design of six new LNG carriers, on behalf of a number of Asian shipowners.
GTT will design the tanks of those six vessels, which is able to supply a capability of 174 000 m3. The tanks will likely be fitted with the membrane containment system NO96 Tremendous+ developed by GTT.
The supply of the vessels is scheduled between 3Q27 and 4Q28.
