Mitsui O.S.Okay. Strains, Ltd has introduced the signing of a long-term constitution contract for a newbuilding LNG service with Tokyo LNG Tanker Co., Ltd (TLT), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tokyo Fuel Co., Ltd.
That is the eighth contract, following a time constitution contract for seven LNG carriers that have been signed for TLT.
The vessel will probably be constructed on the Geoje Shipyard of Hanwha Ocean Co., Ltd, and is scheduled for supply in 2026. It will likely be managed by MOL and can transport LNG for TLT.
The brand new vessel will probably be outfitted with the cutting-edge MAN Vitality Options engine (ME-GA), which improves gasoline consumption effectivity, with specs that improve its surroundings friendliness, in comparison with typical LNG carriers.
