Saipem has been awarded a contract by Eni Congo for the conversion of Scarabeo 5 semisubmersible drilling unit right into a separation and boosting plant (floating manufacturing unit [FPU]).
The FPU is a semisubmersible manufacturing platform that receives the manufacturing fluids from wellheads riser platforms, separate the gasoline from liquids and boosts the gasoline with a purpose to feed the close by floating LNG (FLNG) unit.
