Having already booked import rights of three billion m3 of LNG on a long-term foundation by way of the Hanseatic Power Hub in Stade in December 2022, EnBW has now secured an extra 3 billion m3, thus doubling its future import capability on the Elbe. All bookings embrace the choice to maneuver to ammonia as a hydrogen-based power supply at a later date.
